Jared Whalen

Jared Whalen is a seasoned quality management professional with extensive experience in various industries, including packaging, automotive, and consumer products. Currently serving as the Director of Quality at Summit Packaging Solutions since February 2016, Jared oversees quality operations across multiple North American facilities for a rapidly growing FDA compliant contract packaging company. Previous roles include Director of Quality at Quality Associates Inc., where Jared implemented metrics and procedures across six high-volume facilities, and Quality Manager positions at Mubea and Aurora Casket Company, achieving significant reductions in customer quality issues and production scrap rates. An early career as a Quality Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric and DENSO, along with foundational roles in engineering co-op and internships, further established a strong technical background in quality processes and continuous improvement. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
