Nate Budd

Nate is an experienced fundraising and business development strategist with several multi-million-dollar successes spanning the start-up, natural resources, infrastructure, non-profit and higher education sectors. Nate brings to the board his experiences from over six years as a philanthropic development professional at a major public University and a decade of navigating the legal, financial and regulatory hurdles of water infrastructure permitting and development in the Western US.

Nate earned his BS from the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University and has been a member of the Fort Collins Community for over 15 years. During that time, Nate has served as President of the Board for the Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek during their recent expansion; Vice President of the Board for Neighbor to Neighbor and Homelessness Prevention Initiative through their merger and establishment of a fundraising division; was a member of the Coloradoan’s Editorial Board; and advised on the successful mayoral campaigns for two regional municipalities.
