James Pugh

James Pugh has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Deputy at the Sumner County Sheriff's Office since October 2017. Prior to this role, James worked at the Westmoreland Police Department from September 2011 to October 2017 as a Training Officer and Sergeant, overseeing patrol operations and training. From January 2007 to December 2010, James was a Police Officer and Sergeant at the Lakewood Police Department, where responsibilities included patrol supervision and instruction. James began a law enforcement career at Vanderbilt University as a Police Officer from June 2004 to November 2006 and is an alumnus of Macon Co High School, graduating between 1998 and 2001.
