Ashley Porter

Ashley Porter is a Registered Dietitian currently employed at Sumner Regional Medical Center since August 2022. Previously, Ashley worked as a Grade 4 Teacher at W.A. Wright Elementary School from October 2021 to May 2022, and has extensive teaching experience from positions at WEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and Tennessee Technological University, where Ashley served as Adjunct Faculty responsible for online nutrition courses. Early career experience includes a role as a Contract Registered Dietitian at YMCA and a Registered Dietitian at TriStar Summit Medical Center, focusing on nutrition assessments and patient education. Ashley holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from Tennessee Technological University, along with completing an internship at Vanderbilt Medical Center for Registered Dietitian licensure.
