Omar Sahyoun

Omar Sahyoun is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in Ruby development and leading agile teams. Currently, Omar serves as the Lead Developer at SumOfUs since June 2015. Prior to this role, Omar was a Senior Ruby Developer at Quipper Limited from June 2012 to June 2015, contributing to high-traffic educational web services in a global agile environment. Earlier in the career, Omar worked as a Ruby Developer at 3scale from March 2008 to July 2012, playing a key role in the development of an API management platform. Omar holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Royal Holloway, University of London, obtained from 1998 to 2000.
