Tony Petrov has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Tony began their career as an Intern at White & Case LLP in 2007, followed by a role as a legal assistant at Chadbourne & Parke LLP from 2008 to 2009. Tony then worked as a lawyer and project coordinator at the Anti-discrimination Centre Memorial HRO from 2009 to 2010.

In 2011, Tony became a Research Assistant at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law for a brief period. During the same year, they founded the Center of European Law, where they served as a Founder until 2013.

Tony then joined Threefold Legal Advisors LLC as an Associate from 2012 to 2013. In 2016, they became the Head of International at the Institute for Enterprise Issues until 2017.

Their most recent position is Chief Legal Officer at Sumsub, where they have been working since February 2018.

Tony Petrov completed their LLB and LLM degrees in Law at Saint Petersburg State University from 2004 to 2010. Tony then pursued an LLM degree in Transnational Business Law at the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law from 2010 to 2011. In July 2021, Tony obtained a CySEC Anti-Money Laundering Certificate from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
