Stephen Kennedy is a seasoned professional in public safety and emergency management, currently serving as Assistant County Administrator for Sumter County Economic Development since December 2011. Previously, as Public Safety Director and 911 Coordinator, Stephen played a crucial role in modernizing the county's 911 system and ensuring compliance with public safety protocols. Extensive experience includes serving as Deputy Chief of Administration for Sumter County Fire & EMS, overseeing key improvements in community safety and operational excellence. Stephen's academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Emergency Management and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Jacksonville State University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Warner University.
