Carlos Grieco

Carlos Grieco has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carlos began their career as a Researcher at CEMPRE, a recycling organization, from January 2000 to February 2001. Carlos then worked as an Analyst at Ellux Consultoria from May 2002 to September 2002. Shortly after, they joined Econergy International Corporation as a Carbon Analyst and Trader from September 2002 to January 2005.

From 2005 to 2012, Carlos worked at Bain & Company, starting as an Associate Consultant and progressing to Consultant and Case Team Leader. In 2012, they co-founded EvoBooks S.A., an innovative education company focused on developing digital interactive books and educational programs. Carlos served as a Co-Founder, contributing to the company's growth and impact until April 2017.

Carlos'smost recent role was at SumUp, where they held various positions. Carlos started as the Director of Marketing and Acquisition from June 2017 to December 2020. Afterwards, they became the Executive Director of the Payments Business Unit in Brazil, contributing to the company's success until August 2022. Carlos Grieco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in the years 1998 to 2003. Following that, from 2004 to 2005, they earned a Certificate in Finance from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa. In 2010 to 2011, Carlos pursued an MBA in Business Administration from INSEAD.
