Etienne Marcillat

Etienne Marcillat, MBA, CPIM has extensive experience in procurement and coordination roles. Etienne is currently the Head of Procurement North America at Sun Chemical since July 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at BASF COLORS & EFFECTS from October 2019. From June 2016 to October 2019, Marcillat served as a Senior Global Category Buyer at BASF Colors and Effects. Etienne also worked at BASF from September 2011 to June 2016 as a Senior coordinator Procurement Verbund, responsible for coordinating procurement activities in various regions and optimizing purchasing activities. Before joining BASF, Marcillat worked as an Indirect BUYER at Pierre Fabre from September 2008 to September 2010, and at sanofi-aventis from October 2005 to September 2008.

Etienne Marcillat holds an MBA in Business Administration from GBS Goethe Business School, which they completed in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Purchasing Management & Supply Chain from ICN-ESIDEC Nancy-Metz, which they completed between 2006 and 2008. Etienne also holds a certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS, which they obtained in 2021.
