Rick Stokes

Rick Stokes has a diverse work experience in the coatings, adhesives, and sealants industry. Rick most recently served as the Vice President of the Coatings Group at Sun Chemical, where they led a team responsible for advancing and diversifying the company's portfolio. Prior to this, they held roles as Director of the Coatings Group and Director of Business Development at Sun Chemical. Before joining Sun Chemical, Rick worked at Michelman as the Global Sales Director, managing a 28-person sales team and overseeing a global distribution channel. Rick also worked at Ashland in various roles, including Director of Sales for Packaging Adhesives & Coatings, Global Industry Manager for Laminating Adhesives & Coatings, Distribution Industry Manager, Global Product Manager for Composite Polymers, and Senior Chemical Buyer in the Purchasing & Logistics Department. Throughout their career, Rick has demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, business development, and team management.

Rick Stokes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University's School of Material Science Engineering, which they attended from 1988 to 2003. Later, they pursued an M.B.A. in Economics and Finance from Ashland University, completing it from 2001 to 2004.
