Weston Red Elk

Weston Red Elk is an experienced aviator and military veteran with over 1,500 flight hours and a diverse aviation background. Currently serving as a Boeing 737 First Officer at Sun Country Airlines since May 2022, Weston previously held the position of Embraer 145 First Officer at Envoy Air, where qualifications included completing the EMB-145 Advanced Qualification Program and obtaining the ATP - AMEL and EMB-145 Type Rating. With over 1,200 flight hours and 52 successful search and rescue missions as an MH-65C/D Aircraft Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard, Weston demonstrated proficiency in challenging conditions, including poor visibility and difficult terrain. Weston's career also includes roles as a Student Naval Aviator and Database Administrator, as well as serving as a Deck Watch Officer on a 225-foot ship. Weston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
