Alex Sarkowsky has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They started their career as a Student Shadow at Boulevard Pediatrics in 2010. In 2011, they interned at ShoeDazzle, where they focused on marketing and PR. The following year, they worked as an intern at JustFabulous, assisting the Creative Director with various tasks.

In 2013, Alex joined Lieberman Research Worldwide as a Qualitative Team Intern, gaining experience in market research and data analysis. They returned to the company in 2014 as a Research Associate, working on client research projects and report development.

From 2012 to 2014, Alex worked at Wesleyan University in various roles, including Head Sound Technician, University Relations Worker, and Orientation Leader. These positions involved managing sound and stage setups, organizing alumni events, and leading freshman orientation activities.

In 2014, Alex took on the role of Product Coordinator at The Bouqs Company, where they focused on email initiatives and product marketing. They quickly progressed to roles such as Product, Recipient Experience and Catalog Management and Merchandising Marketing Lead. In these positions, they played a key role in optimizing the catalog, managing SKUs, and executing marketing strategies.

In 2016, Alex became an Associate Marketing Manager at The Bouqs Company, overseeing brand marketing and product launches. They were later promoted to Associate Product Manager, with a focus on ERP and supply chain improvement. Their responsibilities included product planning and internal tooling improvements.

In 2018, Alex joined Fair.com as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for managing a team of engineers and overseeing various aspects of the consumer product. They excelled in areas such as data ingestion, pricing, and consumer experience. They also presented as a product expert and brand ambassador to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Alex then joined Autonomy in 2020, initially working as a Director of Product Management. They later served as Vice President, Product Management. Their role involved strategic decision-making and managing product development teams.

Currently, Alex holds the position of Head of Product at Sun Day Carwash, starting in 2022.

Alex Sarkowsky began their education at The Archer School For Girls from 2004 to 2010. Alex then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology at Wesleyan University from 2010 to 2014. In 2015, Alex enrolled at Harvard Business School Online and completed the Core: Credential of Readiness program. Later in 2019, they attended Stanford University to study Programming Methodology. Additionally, in April 2018, Alex obtained a certification in Master In-Demand Professional Soft Skills from Lynda.com.
