Kevin Bastien

Kevin Bastien has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Kevin started their career as a Technology Intern at R/GA in 2015 and later became an Associate Software Engineer, where they played a key role in prototyping an app for the Jordan brand. In 2016, they joined NurseGrid as a Lead Mobile Engineer, where they built a mobile platform for managing work schedules and communication for nursing professionals. Kevin then returned to R/GA as a Software Engineer, working on projects like Nike Golf Club and beefitswhatsfordinner.

In 2017, Kevin joined Nike as an iOS Engineer, contributing to the development of innovative features for the Nike Run Club app. Kevin later became a Senior iOS Engineer, leading the creation of the first connected footwear experience for Nike Adapt. Kevin also took on the role of Product Manager, overseeing the redesign of the NRC Home Screen and focusing on increasing engagement and retention for runners.

In 2021, Kevin joined Supermall as the Head of Mobile, leading all mobile efforts for the YC funded startup. Kevin built multiple iterations of the product, hired and mentored engineers, and set the technical strategy for the app. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Engineering at Sun Day Carwash, where they oversee the engineering team.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated strong technical expertise in Swift and iOS technologies, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver seamless user experiences.

Kevin Bastien obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Portland. Kevin attended the university from 2011 to 2015.
