Ben Millar

Ben Millar has over 10 years of experience in the energy industry. Ben is currently the CEO of Sun Harvest Energy, a position they assumed in September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association since September 2020 and was a Board Member from July 2020 to October 2022. Ben worked for Dividend Finance from May 2017 to September 2021 as the Director of Sales Operations. Ben was also the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager for Sunstreet Energy Group from November 2015 to April 2017. Ben was the Builder Sales Manager for SolarCity from March 2013 to November 2015. Ben also had roles as a Director of Business Development for E3 Building Sciences and an Estimator for G&L Shell Contractors. Ben was a member of the Board of Directors for Walk Connected and a Program Working Group Member for the USGBC Greenbuild. Ben briefly served as the Director of Marketing for E3 Design and Building Sciences.

Ben Millar earned their Bachelor of Science in Finance, General from the University of Florida in 2004. Ben went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their degrees, they obtained several certifications including OSHA 30 from the University of South Florida and certifications from NAHB and US Green Building Council. Ben also earned the NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate certification from NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
