Rivash Chandar

Rivash Chandar is a qualified finance professional holding an FCCA designation, with extensive experience in financial management within the hospitality sector. Currently serving as Finance Manager for Shared Services at Sun International since April 2022, Rivash has also held the role of Cluster Director of Finance at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels from October 2019 to March 2022, and Regional Financial Controller at Minor Hotel Group from September 2015 to October 2019, overseeing financial operations across multiple hotels and optimizing shared service efficiencies. Rivash's earlier roles at Sun International included Financial Controller and various accounting positions, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial compliance, reporting, and internal controls. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of London and a BCom in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
