Dr. Himanshu T. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Himanshu most recently worked as the Director of Quality and Risk Management at Sun Life Health. Prior to that, they served as the Quality and Risk Manager- Operations West at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinics from 2015 to 2023. Dr. Himanshu has also worked at Indiana University Health, where they held multiple roles, including System Transformation Leader, System Deployment Leader, and Quality & Compliance Liaison. Dr. Himanshu has experience in managing various CMS measures for quality, improving patient throughput, and reducing readmissions. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Clinical Research Associate at Indiana University School of Medicine and as a Healthcare Policy Research Analyst and Project Manager at Indiana University Purdue University. Dr. Himanshu also served as the Medical Director of Blood Bank at Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank and Research Center, where they managed administrative and clinical functions and led initiatives to improve patient and donor satisfaction. Dr. Himanshu has also worked as a Health Educator at the New Mexico State Department of Health and as a Research Assistant at New Mexico State University. Dr. Himanshu started their career as a Physician in the fields of Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Center and Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, respectively.

Dr. Himanshu T. completed their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Rajasthan from 1994 to 2000. They then obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health from New Mexico State University, attending from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Himanshu T. continued their education by pursuing a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine, completing their studies from 2009 to 2013. They also obtained various certifications, including the Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Hospital Association in 2017, the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association of Healthcare Quality in 2012, and Lean Silver and Lean Green certifications from Simpler Consulting in 2014 and 2013 respectively.
