Connor Browne

Connor joined the Sun Mountain Capital team to help lead the New Mexico Recovery Fund, L.P., as a Managing Director and a member of the fund’s Investment Committee. Previously, Connor was a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Thornburg Investment Management. There, he ran the Thornburg Value Fund and domestic equity strategy and launched the Thornburg Long/Short Equity Fund and strategy. He moved to Santa Fe in 2001 to begin work at Thornburg. Connor has supported many local non-profit organizations, especially Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region, where he volunteered as a big brother and served on the board, most recently as Board President, and Reading Quest, where he is the current Board Chair. Connor and his wife, Christina, are particularly focused on helping to create better opportunities for at-risk youth in New Mexico. Connor has a BA in Economics from Princeton University.
