Kristin van Casteren

Kristin Van Casteren has extensive experience in product management, research, and education within the biomedical and engineering fields. Currently serving as Product Manager and Product Physicist at Sun Nuclear since November 2016, Kristin has contributed to product development through physics hardware testing and experimental analysis. Previously, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Florida Institute of Technology, Kristin was involved in cardiovascular engineering projects, performing surgical duties and data acquisition. Additionally, Kristin's roles included Lead Admissions Ambassador and Resident Assistant, showcasing leadership and community-building skills. Kristin also engaged in science education as a Secondary Science Education Intern and participated in the NSF I-Corps Program as co-Entrepreneurial Lead. Kristin holds a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and STEM Education from Florida Institute of Technology.
