Oscar Casares-Magaz

Oscar Casares-Magaz is a highly skilled physicist with extensive experience in the medical physics field. Currently serving as a Product Trainer Physicist at Sun Nuclear Corporation since July 2020, Oscar has previously held prominent positions including Chairman and Vice Chair of the European Matters Committee at the European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics from January 2018 to December 2020. Oscar's clinical expertise also includes a role as Clinical Application Specialist at Vision RT Ltd and postdoctoral research at Aarhus Universitetshospital. Furthermore, Oscar has been involved in academic research during a visitor scholar stint at the University of California San Diego and has completed a Ph.D. at Aarhus University. Oscar’s foundational education includes a Graduate degree in Physics from Universidad de Valladolid and an Erasmus Grant at Universidade de Aveiro.
