Elson Lai M.D.

Elson Lai MD is the Founder of Rosemead Eye Center, established in May 2014, and serves as a Founding Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Independent Practice Partners since November 2017. As a Co-Founder of Skin Laundry since May 2013, Elson holds positions on various advisory boards, including Advisory Board Ophthalmology for Modernizing Medicine and Key Opinion Leader for both SUN PHARMA and Sight Sciences, Inc. Since November 2018, Elson has been the Chair of Ophthalmology at USC Arcadia Hospital and has contributed as Volunteer Faculty at LAC+USC Medical Center since March 2013. Education includes a Medical Doctorate from Chicago Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Elson is also a member of professional societies such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
