Shekhar Ramachandran

Shekhar Ramachandran has extensive work experience in finance and management roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Shekhar is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at Sun Pharma. Prior to this, they worked at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President of Finance and Finance Head for Global Manufacturing and Supply. Before that, they held various finance controller positions at Johnson & Johnson, including being the Asia Pac Operations Finance Controller and Finance Controller for the Hospital Medical Devices division. Shekhar also worked at GlaxoSmithKline Asia as a Sr. Sourcing Group Manager and in program management for supply chain improvement. Shekhar had a long tenure at GlaxoSmithKline, serving as a Sr. Finance Manager and Finance Manager. Shekhar's career started at Essar Projects, where they worked as a Finance Executive.

Shekhar Ramachandran earned an MBA degree in Finance and International Finance from K J Somaiya Institute of Management between 1993 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Cost and Management Accountant degree from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India in 1993. Additionally, they completed the Leadership Program for Senior Leaders at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
