Somenath Ganguly

Somenath Ganguly is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Associate Vice President at SUN PHARMA since March 2015. In this role, Somenath leads a group of 50 scientists, focusing on providing quality analytical support for Chemical and Formulation Research, specializing in the development and validation of methods for Polymorph Identification and Quantification. Prior to SUN PHARMA, Somenath held various positions at Ranbaxy, including Associate Director and Senior Research Scientist, and has also worked at Aurobindo Pharma, TCG Lifesciences, and earlier at Ranbaxy as a Research Scientist. Somenath holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in addition to a Master of Science from the University of Kalyani and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Burdwan.
