Suresh Rai currently serves as the Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Sun Pharma, starting in December 2023. Prior to this role, Suresh held several key positions at Unilever from July 1998 to December 2023, including Chief Human Resources Officer for the Global Nutrition business, where leadership extended over a $13 billion sector with iconic brands like Knorr and Hellmann's, and as Global Vice President for the Foods and Refreshment Division managing a $20 billion portfolio. Additional roles at Unilever included Vice President of HR for South East Asia & Australasia and Vice President of HR for the Philippines, with responsibilities spanning diverse business units and regions. Earlier experience includes a position as Operations Manager in the Product Supply Organization at Procter & Gamble from 1991 to 1996. Suresh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and an MBA in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, complemented by an Organization Development program at the NTL Institute.
