Tom Griffin

Tom Griffin is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Sun Tribe since August 2020. Previously, Tom held multiple roles at Sol Systems, LLC from January 2015 to July 2020, including Development Engineer and Solar Analyst Intern, where responsibilities encompassed technical support, energy modeling processes, construction monitoring, and asset management. Earlier in their career, Tom achieved a Senior Sailing Instructor position at Vashaw Enterprises from June 2007 to October 2014, where Tom led classes and ensured safety inspections. Additionally, Tom officiated youth lacrosse games for the Washington Area Lacrosse Officials Association between March 2009 and June 2014. Tom holds a B.S. in Integrated Science and Technology with a focus on Energy from James Madison University, earned in 2014.
