Sun Valley first opened its doors in 1990 with a heart to reach people in Arizona who nobody was reaching with the good news that God loves us and that Jesus has provided the way for us to be restored in a relationship with Him.

That is still who we are today.

We are one church that meets in multiple locations across Arizona as well as online with the mission of "Helping People Meet, Know, and Follow Jesus." We believe that we are just getting started and the best is yet to come as we work together to help fulfill the mission that Jesus has given us.

The Pastoral Team at Sun Valley Community Church is dedicated to guiding, nurturing, and mentoring the congregation in their spiritual journey. This team, consisting of various specialized pastors such as the Lead Pastor, Next Steps Pastor, and Kids Pastor, works collaboratively to provide spiritual care, teach biblical principles, and facilitate programs that encourage members of all ages to meet, know, and follow Jesus. They are responsible for delivering sermons, leading worship services, and offering pastoral care and counseling to support the holistic well-being of the church community.
