Andrew Gruber

Director Of Three-phase Product at Sunbelt Solomon

Andrew Gruber started their work experience in 2006 as a Laborer at Concrete Foundations, where they worked part-time before transitioning to full-time. Andrew was responsible for tasks such as tying steel, finishing concrete, and reading site drawings for light pole layout.

In 2011, Gruber joined Solomon Corporation as a Voltage Regulator & Control Technician. Andrew then progressed to the role of Technical Lead in 2015 and later became the Regulator & OCR Shop Supervisor in 2016.

In 2018, Gruber moved to Sunbelt-Solomon Solutions as an Assistant Plant Manager. In this role, they managed the repair shop operations, including Transformers, Regulators, Reclosers, Testing, Parts, Yard, and Paint. Andrew directly oversaw the Regulator, Recloser, and Parts departments, as well as handled Nameplate Printing and Development. Gruber also provided internal and external technical support for all TN product classes.

In October 2020, they assumed the position of Director of Three-Phase Product at the same company. No end date was provided for this role.

Andrew Gruber attended Middle College High School, where they obtained their high school diploma in 2006. After that, they attended Chattanooga State Community College from 2006 to 2008, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including OSHA 30, Voltage Regulator Seminar, ServeSafe: Food Protection Manager Certification (TN), GE Voltage Regulator Training, and Final Testing and Trouble-Shooting Voltage Regulators.
