The Healthcare and Laboratory team at SunCoast Blood Centers is responsible for the collection, processing, and testing of blood and blood products to ensure safety and quality for patient transfusions. Team members, including Medical Technologists, Pheresis RNs, and Phlebotomists, work collaboratively to manage blood donations, perform detailed laboratory analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance. This team supports local healthcare facilities by providing critical blood products necessary for surgeries, emergencies, and treatments, thus playing a vital role in community healthcare.
