Dr. Aura Cisneros

Dr. Aura Cisneros has extensive work experience in the field of dentistry. Dr. Aura served as the Chief Dental Officer at Suncoast Community Health Centers, Inc. from June 2011 onwards. In 2020, they joined NYU Langone Dental Medicine as a Clinic Faculty member. Prior to that, Dr. Cisneros held the position of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force from May 2007 to July 2018.

Dr. Aura Cisneros began their education at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a focus on Medicine. Dr. Aura then attended Bethany Theological Seminary from 1988 to 1990, earning an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Theology/Theological Studies. Afterwards, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General at Universidad Metropolitana from 1990 to 1994. Finally, from 1994 to 1998, Dr. Cisneros attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
