Eric Sorensen

Eric Sorensen serves as the Chief Dental Officer at the Indian Health Service since October 2021, following a distinguished career in dental services within various esteemed organizations. With experience as a Dental Officer in the United States Army Dental Corps since March 2012, Eric also held the role of Assistant Chief of Dental Service at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from December 2017 to October 2021. Additionally, Eric contributed to the education sector as an Assistant Professor and Director of CAD/CAM Training at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine from November 2014 to December 2017. Entrepreneurially, Eric owned Academy Square Dental Care and practiced as a dentist at several clinics prior to these roles. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Brigham Young University.
