Karen Diaz

Karen Diaz is a seasoned Geological Technologist with extensive experience in data management and analysis, currently employed at Suncor since July 2019, where responsibilities include stewarding data within Petrel/Studio and developing automated scripts using Python. Prior to this role, Karen worked at Canadian Natural Resources Limited from May 2012 to July 2019, where expertise in geological data management, quality control, and technical support to geologists and engineers was demonstrated. Karen holds a Post Diploma Certificate in Data Analytics and a Diploma with Honors in Exploration/Geoscience Information Technology, both from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Proficient in various geological applications and databases, Karen is known for excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to solve data quality issues and meet challenges independently.
