Marc Geredes

Marc Geredes has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Marc currently holds the role of Chief Operating Officer at Sundae | Homebuyers with Heart since February 2021. Prior to this, from October 2019 to February 2021, they served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Genesis Capital LLC.

Before joining Genesis Capital LLC, Geredes worked at LendingHome from an unspecified date in 2016 until 2019. During their time at LendingHome, they served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and was responsible for designing and implementing the company's vision of automating the mortgage borrower's experience. Marc also took charge of the company's primary business line, which had previously shown no growth in volume or revenue.

From 2011 to 2016, Geredes was the President and Founder of AmMAC, a consumer direct mortgage banking start-up funded by Amherst Holdings. Marc developed a business plan aimed at disrupting the mortgage process through proprietary technology that automated underwriting processes, reducing costs and increasing consistency, accuracy, and speed.

Prior to AmMAC, Geredes worked at Mariner Investment Group from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they played a key role in launching a distressed asset fund for the NY-based hedge fund. Marc assisted in raising funds and was responsible for counterparty analysis, due diligence, and ongoing surveillance.

Geredes's earliest significant position was at First Franklin, where they worked from 1986 to 2003. Marc held various sales and operations leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and ultimately served as the President and CEO. First Franklin was the 5th largest non-prime mortgage lender in the country, with a substantial number of branches and employees.

Marc Geredes has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley College of Letters & Science.
