Laura Ryan

Laura Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laura most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Sundance Institute starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant from November 2022 to June 2023. Before their time at Sundance Institute, Laura held various roles at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Laura was the Chief of Staff from April 2022 to November 2022 and previously served as the Senior Director of Visitor Experience from February 2015 to November 2022. In this role, Laura was responsible for managing the teams that curated the customer experience at TIFF events. Laura also has experience as a Site Director of Service Delivery at Aspire Lifestyles from June 2012 to November 2014 and as a Director of Business Development and Director of Operations at American Express from 2007 to 2012. Laura started their career as a Sales Manager at Oracle USA and later worked as a Team Lead at IBM Canada Ltd.
