Julio Decastro

Julio DeCastro is the Owner and Founder of JDC Literacy Solutions, as well as the Florida-Alabama Manager for Sundance Newbridge Publishing. Julio is also the Owner and President of Against The Wind Images, specializing in Heirloom Portraits since 1975. With a background in sales and marketing, Julio has worked for various publishing companies such as Heinemann Publishing, Scott Foresman, Macmillan McGraw, and Harcourt Brace. Julio has also served as the Marketing Manager for HMY Yacht Sales. Julio started their career as an Assistant Head Basketball Coach at Clewiston Senior High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and History Education from Florida International University.
