Stuart English has extensive experience in the field of football coaching. Stuart is currently the Head of Coaching at Sunderland AFC since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant Academy Manager at Birmingham City FC from 2015 to 2021. Before that, they held various coaching positions at Brentford Football Club from 2010 to 2015, including Head of Coaching / Lead Foundation Phase and Technical Development Coach / Foundation Lead Phase Coach. Stuart also worked as a Football Development Officer at Luton Town Football Club from 2006 to 2010 and as a Community Coach at Wycombe Wanderers & London Wasps from 2004 to 2006.
Stuart English completed a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management & Football Studies at Buckinghamshire New University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006.
