Benjamín Prieto Gaggero

Benjamín Prieto Gaggero has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Benjamín is currently the Founder of Environ SpA, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, Benjamín worked at Centro de Innovación UC Anacleto Angelini, where they held multiple roles including Head of Venture Capital & Growth Development and Senior Portfolio Manager. In these roles, they created Latin America's first corporate venture capital service, led multiple Series A rounds for startups, and organized collaborative corporate accelerator programs.

Benjamín also has experience as a Director at Sundes Collection and as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Servicios Financieros ALTIS S.A., where they participated in M&A transactions and consulting projects. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst at Precisión S.A., focusing on logistics services, and as a Gestor Internship at CODELCO, where they improved processes and strategies for bidding.

Benjamín's early work experience includes an Analyst role at WENCO S.A., where they evaluated production and sales of plastic pallets. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong background in finance, strategic planning, and innovation, with a focus on startups and disruptive solutions.

Benjamín Prieto Gaggero's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they obtained a Licenciatura in Bioquímica in 2012. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued further education at the same institution and from 2010 to 2015, they obtained an Ingeniero Civil Industrial degree, along with a Diploma en Ingeniería Química. In 2014, they also participated in a Programa de Inglés at the University of Sydney, specifically at the Centre for English Teaching. Most recently, from 2017 to 2020, they attended the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile again, achieving a Master of Engineering(MEng) degree, with a specialization in MSc in Energy Engineering.
