Anderson Smith

Anderson Smith has extensive experience in quality and regulatory affairs, primarily in the cannabis industry. Anderson has held various roles in different companies, including Vice President of Operations Quality and Regulatory Affairs at SNDL Inc. and Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at The Valens Company. Prior to their work in the cannabis industry, Smith was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Supra THC Services, a subsidiary of Valens GroWorks, where their focus was on conducting research, providing chemical analysis, and producing extracts and derivatives of cannabis materials. Before that, Smith worked at Supra Research and Development as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Business Development, where they focused on analytical solutions, hardware development, and innovative product development. Prior to their work in the cannabis industry, Smith worked at PerkinElmer as a OneSource Business Development representative and a Western Group Leader, and at Waters as a Field Service Representative. Anderson also has experience at Maxxam Analytics as a Primary Analyst and a Laboratory Technician in Food Residue, where they supervised technicians and performed complex testing methods.

Anderson Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Victoria, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at Kalamalka High School.
