Nicola Smith

Nicola Smith is a highly experienced legal and compliance professional, currently serving as VP Legal, Compliance & People at SunDrive since May 2024. Nicola has been actively involved in community engagement as a member of People Stories and a charter member of TechGC, where knowledge sharing among General Counsel is prioritized. Previously, Nicola held roles as VP Legal & People at Hometree, General Counsel & VP People at Elephant Healthcare, and worked as a Senior Associate at Forsters LLP. Additionally, Nicola has extensive litigation experience, including a tenure at the NSW Department of Family & Community Services focusing on historical claims and as an associate at firms like Norton Rose Fulbright and DLA Piper. Nicola holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Technology Sydney, complemented by an exchange program at the University of Westminster.
