Stirling Adams

Stirling Adams has extensive legal experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. As Vice President and Head of IP at Micro Focus (now OpenText) from May 2016 to November 2022, Adams focused on intellectual property matters. Previously, Adams served as Associate General Counsel at the Naval Information Systems Management Center, where responsibilities included litigating bid protests and advising on large technology contracts. Additionally, roles at ZEO Energy and Hi Tech Solutions, LLC as General Counsel were assumed in November 2022. Adams also held positions at Novell as Chief Counsel and Associate General Counsel, and as Trial Attorney at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, gaining expertise in disputes related to construction and service contracts. Academically, Adams holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Statistics from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
