Mahmut Can Karakaya

Mahmut Can Karakaya is the Aircraft Systems – Cabin Interior Lead Engineer at SunExpress, a position held since November 2013, where responsibilities include ensuring aircraft airworthiness and leading maintenance activities. Previous experience includes serving as an Aircraft Systems - Cabin Interior Engineer and Project Assistant at Istanbul Technical University, contributing to projects funded by TUBITAK focused on aerodynamics and electrospray systems. Additional internships at Kale Aero and BSH Turkey provided early exposure to the aerospace field. Mahmut Can Karakaya holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and completed secondary education at Samsun Anadolu Lisesi.
