Thomas Ruth

Thomas Ruth, PE, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the electric utility sector, including significant roles at Western Cooperative Electric Association as General Manager and at Sunflower Electric Power Corporation as a Board Director, both since May 2018. Prior to this, Thomas served as Vice President of Distribution Services at South Central Indiana REMC and held various leadership positions at PNM Resources, including Director of Corporate Safety and Director of Distribution Engineering and T&D Line Operations. Thomas began a career at Black Hills Energy, progressing from Manager of Electric Operations to Director of Business Operations. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management and Electrical Power from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
