Dimitris Panagiotou has an extensive work experience in the energy industry. Dimitris started their career as an Electrical Engineer at ASROFOS Engineering S.A., a subsidiary of the Hellenic Petroleum Group, where they worked from December 2006 to July 2008. Dimitris then moved on to work as an Energy Consultant at Noisis Development Consultants SA from October 2009 to January 2010. Since then, Dimitris has been involved in various sales and managerial roles in the energy storage systems sector. Dimitris worked at Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems, starting as a Pre-sales Engineer UPS & DC Power Systems from May 2010 to September 2011, then as a Product Manager AC/DC Equipment from October 2011 to February 2015. Dimitris then progressed to Account Manager from July 2013 to February 2015, Key Account Manager from February 2015 to November 2016, and Area Sales Manager / EMEA - L.America from November 2016 to April 2018. Their roles subsequently include Area Sales Manager (Global Sales Reserve Power) from May 2018 to December 2019, Senior Sales Manager (Motive and Reserve Power Batteries) from January 2020 to August 2020, and currently, as the Sales Director for Motive and Reserve Power Batteries since August 2020. Overall, Dimitris has a diverse background in both technical and sales roles, with a focus on energy storage systems.

Dimitris Panagiotou's education history begins in 1998 when they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Patras. In 2006, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in "Engineering Systems Management" at the National Technical University of Athens, which they completed in 2008.

In 2012, Dimitris attended ITEC Consulting, where they earned a Master Certificate in Project Management. Later in 2018, they furthered their education at IMD, where they focused on Leadership, Strategy, and General Management through the BOT (Building On Talent) program.

More recently, in 2020, Dimitris attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a brief period. Dimitris also completed the Kellogg Executive Education program in Strategic Change Management that same year.

In addition to their formal degrees, Dimitris has obtained additional certifications. Dimitris completed a course in Managerial Finance from LSE in 2021 and a course titled "Leaders: Make Your Teams More Agile, Creative, and United" from LinkedIn in 2020.
