Brian Pierro

Brian Pierro has extensive experience in research and development within the respiratory and anesthesia medical device sectors, currently serving as Sr. Director of New Business Development at AirLife since August 2023. Previously, Brian held various leadership roles at Vyaire Medical, including Sr. Engineering Fellow and Director of R&D, focusing on technology development for single-use devices. Prior experience includes directing R&D at Becton Dickinson following its acquisition of CareFusion, where Brian led teams in developing anesthesia products. Earlier career contributions involved engineering positions at CareFusion and Cardinal Health, specializing in respiratory therapy products. Brian began a career in respiratory therapy R&D at Baxter International Inc. as an engineer. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
