Camille Mendonça Castillo

Content Strategy Manager at SunMedia

Camille Mendonça Castillo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Camille started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Óptica 18 in 2010. Camille then went on to work as an Editorial Intern at Revista EME, El Nacional, where they conducted field research, interviewed fashion designers, and managed sections on fashion and culture.

In 2010, Camille became a Brand Manager at Tend Asesores, where they developed content strategies for fashion retailers and conducted digital branding projects. Camille also worked on a public relations project aimed at promoting national fashion brands.

From 2014 to 2015, Camille worked at La Web Mercadeo Interactivo as a Strategic Planner. Camille developed branding strategies for well-known Venezuelan beer and food brands, as well as for Movistar. Camille'swork involved consumer research, trend analysis, and the development of innovative digital campaigns. Camille later took on the role of Senior Strategic Planner, where they focused on leadership and management, as well as the development of new methodologies and philosophy for the agency.

In 2015, Camille joined Lavand as the Marketing and Communication Manager. Camille was responsible for developing online and offline strategies to position the brand in the textile industry.

From 2016 to 2017, Camille worked as a Community Manager at Proximity Madrid, and then moved on to become an Executive Assistant at Patricia Padrón, a luxury womenswear clothing brand. In this role, they managed product, suppliers, and provided administrative support during the creative and production stage.

Camille's role as a Content Strategy Manager at Noddus from 2018 to 2021 involved developing branded content strategies for Publicis Media clients. Camille transformed client requests into briefs for creators, managed the creative process, and created annual content strategies.

Most recently, Camille worked at Publicis Groupe as a Content Specialist. In this role, they coordinated Branded Content campaigns and was involved in strategic analysis, benchmarking, partner selection, content production, and result analysis.

Currently, Camille is working as a Content Strategy Manager at SunMedia.

Camille Mendonça Castillo has a diverse education background. Camille obtained a Master's degree in Social Innovation from Learning by Helping during the period from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued their passion for fashion by completing a diploma in Fashion Management at Academia Showroom in 2013-2014 and a degree in Fashion Collections Design and Architecture from Istituto Marangoni in 2017. In 2016-2017, they pursued their MBA in Fashion & Luxury Management from Esden Business School.

Before venturing into the field of fashion, Camille earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universidad Central de Venezuela from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. This includes achieving a French B1 Proficiency from Alliance Française Madrid in December 2019, completing a Curso de Marketing Digital from IAB Spain in February 2016, earning an English C1 Proficiency from the British Council in April 2015, and obtaining a certification in Web & Apps Design from Instituto Perea in August 2010.
