Juan Miguel Lapido has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Juan Miguel began their career as a Digital Designer at eresMas Interactiva in 2001 before moving on to Deutsche Telekom as the Director of Art for Ya.com. In 2008, Juan joined Orange, where they worked on Creativity, Design, and Special Actions.
In 2006, Juan became a professor of Interactive Advertising at IED Madrid, a role they held until 2011 when they joined Condé Nast College Spain as a Professor. During their time at Condé Nast España, Juan served as the Director of Digital Design, overseeing various projects in product design, marketing, and custom solutions. Juan Miguel later became the Global Head of Design before leaving in 2021.
From 2019 to the present, Juan has also been a member of the Creation and Innovation Committee at BCMA Spain. In 2021, they joined SunMedia as the Global Head of Creative Strategy, Design & Innovation, and in 2023, they took on the additional role of Chief Creative Officer (CCO).
Currently, Juan works as the Chief Creative Officer at EXTE, where they are responsible for the creation and development of creative projects for brands, including branded content and custom solutions.
Juan Miguel Lapido completed a Master's in Motion Design at ESdesign Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Interactive Spaces at IED Madrid in 2005. Further back, they obtained a degree in Advertising and Marketing, Arts from C.E.N.P between 1999 and 2001.
