Joel Marty

Joel Marty has a diverse range of work experience in the payment technology industry. Joel is currently working as the Europe Project Director for SUNMI Technology, focusing on business IOT and Android payment devices and solutions. Prior to their current role, Joel held various positions at Verifone, including Director of Business Development for Payment Transactions Services in South Europe and Manager of WYNID Payment Solutions Engineering. Joel also served as the Co-Chairman of the nexo Retailer Technical Working Group at nexo-standards. Earlier in their career, Joel worked at Hypercom and WYNID Technologies (now Thales e-Transactions), where they held roles in marketing, product management, and international project management. Joel began their career as a software developer at Micropole-Univers, Creative Electronic Systems CES, and Aerospatiale.

Joel Marty attended Polytech Montpellier from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Micro-Electronics and Automation. Following that, they enrolled at IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management in 1993 and completed a DESS degree in CAAE by 1994.
