Sean Britt

Sean Britt, CPA CGMA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Sean currently holds the position of VP, Accounting at Sunnova Energy since November 2023. Prior to that, they worked at EY for over 10 years, starting as an Auditor and progressing to the roles of Audit Manager and eventually Senior Manager. During their time at EY, Sean demonstrated strong leadership skills by managing large engagement teams and conducting audits for various clients in the retail, energy, and utilities sectors. Sean also excelled in cross-functional collaboration, coordinating with financial statement auditors, tax auditors, IT auditors, and valuation specialists to ensure comprehensive audit outcomes. Sean provided expert technical accounting guidance, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC, PCAOB, and IFRS standards. Before joining EY, they worked as an Auditor at BKD and as a Project Accountant at HOK.

Sean Britt, CPA CGMA, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. Sean has additional certifications including CGMA from the AICPA and Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2007.
