Carly Reeder is a Research Technician at Hillman Cancer Center since August 2013, specializing in processing biological specimens from head-and-neck cancer patients and performing various molecular/cellular techniques. Additionally, since May 2015, Carly serves as a Personal Care Aide for a male patient with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), assisting with daily living activities. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research and the Department of Anesthesiology, as well as Animal Behavior Laboratory Assistant at the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research. Carly holds a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, earned in 2015.
