Ali Yassine is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and engineering, currently serving as an Advisor at iMining Technologies Inc. since February 2024, focusing on scientific research development. Previously, Ali held positions as a Research Fellow at Sunnybrook and as a Deep Learning Engineer at Perimeter Medical Imaging AI, where expertise in medical image classification and region detection was applied. Earlier experiences include working as a Data Scientist at BSynchro, focusing on enhancing OCR techniques, and mentoring a winning team in the AI for Climate Hackathon during a tenure as an Educator. Ali Yassine holds a Master's degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
