Amit Singnurkar is a seasoned Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Physician at Sunnybrook since March 2019, where responsibilities include research in neuro-oncology and dementia as part of the Department of Precision Diagnostics and Therapeutics. In addition, Amit serves as a Policy Advisor at Cancer Care Ontario, advising on the use of PET/CT for diagnostic assessments, and holds the position of Quality Specialist at The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Previously, leadership roles at Hamilton Health Sciences included Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and Program Lead for Nuclear Cardiology. Amit's fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center focused on PET imaging in oncology. Education includes an MBA in Health Care and Life Sciences from the University of Toronto, a Master of Public Health from Harvard, and multiple medical degrees from McGill University.
