Heidi M.

Heidi M. has a diverse work experience in the medical staff services and payer enrollment field. Heidi started their career in 2003 as a Credentialing Specialist and CDEMS Coordinator at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic. Heidi was responsible for maintaining over 160 credentialing files and privileges for various healthcare providers. In 2008, Heidi joined Health Management Associates, Inc. as a Medical Staff Services Coordinator, where they handled hospital credentialing and privileging, implemented and monitored The Joint Commission standards, and maintained the MD-Staff Credentialing Software database. In 2011, Heidi moved to Community Health of Central Washington, where they worked as a Program Credentialing professional, focusing on the redesign of the credentialing and onboarding process for the residency program. During their time there, they oversaw the growth of residents from 12 to 30. Currently, Heidi is employed at Astria Health, where they have held multiple roles. Heidi initially joined as the Manager of Medical Staff Services & Payer Enrollment in December 2020 and was recently promoted to System Director in May 2023.

Heidi M. obtained a High School Diploma from Ellensburg High School in the years 1987-1991. Heidi later pursued higher education and earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Eastern Gateway Community College in the years 2020-2023. Heidi is currently studying at Franklin University and is expected to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Additionally, they have certifications as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) from NAMSS and NAMSS - National Association Medical Staff Services, obtained in December 2012.
